DESCRIPTION:It is repeated every year and great is the expectation in Trapani for Good Friday . The procession of the Mysteries\,one of the most secular processions depicting the passion and death of Christ\,whose protagonists are the 18 sculptural groups plus 2 simulacra\,made of wood\,cloth and glue between the 17th and 18th centuries by Trapani’s master artisans\,goes on stage.The Good Friday procession goes on for about 24 hours through the streets of the city\,accompanied by the characteristic funeral marches sung by bands.  \nThis year the procession will take place on Good Friday\, April 18\, 2025 from 2 p.m. onwards and will continue\, as per tradition until Saturday\, April 19 \nHERE IS THE OFFICIAL ITINERARY OF THE PROCESSION OF THE MYSTERIES 2025 \nGood Friday\, April 18\, 2025 \nITINERARY BEING FINALIZED

DESCRIPTION:March 7 to April 11\, 2025 \nFor 2025\, the Lenten rites of “Scinnute” begin on Friday\, MARCH 7. \nIt is a ritual dating back to around 1600\, which takes place on the six Fridays of Lent in the Purgatory Church.\nIt currently consists of moving one or more Sacred Groups\, adorned with flowers and silverware\, to the center of the church where Holy Mass(or a moment of prayer) is celebrated\, while in the square in front as usual\, before and after the celebration\, a marching band intones the characteristic funeral repertoire. \nCalendar being finalized \nAll “Scinnute” will be preceded by outdoor musical performance at 6:15 p.m.\nPrayer meeting from 7 to 8 p.m.\nOutdoor musical performance until 9 p.m.
