The town - Buseto Palizzolo
In an hilly area between Erice and Segesta, Buseto Palizzolo rises: a predominantly rural centre composed by several hamlets and by houses loose on a wide land.
Born in Byzantine age, it has been part of Erice territory till 1950 to become, from then, an autonomous commune.
The Sicilian typical cultivations, principally vines and olive trees, have room on its wide green expanses. Next to the town, you also find Bosco Scorace (Scorace Wood), with a zone supplied for picnics.
