Buseto Palizzolo

In a hilly area between Erice and Segesta, stands Buseto Palizzolo: a predominantly agricultural center composed of several hamlets and houses scattered over a wide area.

Born in Byzantine times, it was part of the territory of Erice until 1950 to become, since then, an autonomous municipality. Its wide green expanses are home to typical Sicilian crops , mainly vines and olive trees. Near the town is also the Scorace Forest, with a picnic area.
