| The town - Paceco
The small rural centre rise close to the big Salinas that form the Oriented Natural Reserve of the Salinas of Trapani and Paceco. Around the built-up area, the country extends very fruitful, well-known because of the production of the Yellow Melon, and of the course of Birgi river, in the neighbourhood of which you find the homonymous airport. The town, built during the XVII century, is made up by rectangular blocks, big panoramic squares, baroque churches and a castle, unfortunately ruined by property speculation, situated on the main street at the limits of the built-up area.
